Education is a process of developing man’s innate powers and to attain a better managed quality life. R.C. College of Education, Dhanot came into existence with effect from 01.10.2003 with its aim of imparting education for aspirants. It is situated in a rural area and has very beautiful and peaceful site between the vallies of Shivalik and Kalidhar ranges of Jawalamukhi Sub division, Distt. Kangra (H.P.). The college has its own building and located in a noise free atmosphere. Our College is well furnished with all the latest equipment in the Labs. It has been our first and foremost duty to provide quality education to our students and for this purpose our college has all the facilities required for the all round development of the students. It is my earnest endeavour to provide each teacher with the environment in which he/she is flourished and allowed the freedom to maximize his/her potential. It will create a sense of devotion to the nation, a sense of social service and security in the emerging generation. Teacher training is the best way of developing personality and during this period Pupil-teachers gain some thoughtful and innovative. In this college more than 60% are girl students and are from rural background. It has been our endeavour to make all round development of the pupil-teachers and make them good citizen of the nation.

     Our vision is based upon hard work, open communication, a strong emphasis on team work and a high level of responsibility. This visionary culture allows our wards not only to adopt the present day challenges but also individual responsibilities to the society and our nation at large.
